OFFICIAL CLUB BY-LAWS

ARTICLE 1: Name, Vinyl, & Shirt

The official name of the club is “Kustom Image Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycles” or “Kustom Image C.T.M” for short.

Official Vinyl- All members must display an official vinyl on their vehicles. If a member’s vehicle does not display an official Kustom Image C.T.M. vinyl, the vehicle is not considered part of Kustom Image C.T.M Vinyl must be visible and in good condition.

The first Kustom Image C.T.M vinyl is free and provided by the club upon completing the 30 day trail period. For any additional vinyl(s), there will be a $15 fee.

The official Kustom Image C.T.M shirt will be designed for free, you must provide a shirt! After the first design of the shirt, you will be charged $15 per shirt design; this does not include the shirt!

ARTICLE 2: Members/Membership

There are two ways of joining Kustom Image C.T.M.
The person of interest can fill out an application or
An official Kustom Image C.T.M. member can nominate a person of interest and sponsor them.

The prospective member must do through a 60 day, two part process before they can become a full-fledged member of Kustom Image C.T.M.:
The prospective member must go through a 30 day preliminary trial period. During this trial period, time will be spent getting to know the prospective member to see how well they fit in with the other club members. At the end of the 30 day preliminary trial period, a secret ballot vote will be held and all of the current members will cast their votes. Once the prospective member receives more then 50% of votes, he or she will become a member of Kustom Image C.T.M. with a probationary status.
(Votes are based on the prospective member’s vehicle, their personality, and their interaction with the rest of the club)
**In the event of a tie, the senior board will decide**
2. For the next 30 days, the new member must respect and observe our Zero Tolerance Policy and must remain incident free. Upon successful completion the latter 30 day, the probationary status will be lifted

Once voted in, the new member is bound by the articles/rules and must stay active. If member fails to do so, the he or she can be voted out of Kustom Image C.T.M. The vote must be unanimous.

If a person is voted out or decides to leave Kustom Image C.T.M, he or she must remove the club vinyl/sponsors’ vinyl from their vehicle and any items affiliated with Kustom Image C.T.M. including items from our sponsors must be returned. He or she will no longer have a say in Kustom Image C.T.M.

Dedications and respect are the main and major policies in Kustom Image C.T.M.
“We are one team, one family”

Monthly dues will be $10.00 and are collected the 1st of the month. They must be in form of cash or money order only. You may also pay future months dues in advance.

A club member’s significant other IS NOT considered an automatic member of Kustom Image C.T.M. They must follow the same process as a prospective member.

ARTICLE 3: VEHICLES

Member must own a vehicle, PERIOD! Friend’s car is not permitted.

Vehicle must have some kind of modification that makes it stand out of the ordinary; I.e. audio, sound, looks/show, performance.
Drinking & driving, drugs, or illegal racing will not be tolerated.

ARTICLE 4: Vehicle Teamwork Assistance

Request for Vehicle Teamwork Assistants‘- This request is used to notify and plan vehicle teamwork assistance (help) in advance. Your request for assistance will go out to all the club members to see who is available for that day you are requesting assistance on. Please note and understand that NO assistance will be given one the day of an official car show. We are not doing the work for you; you must help with the assistants!
To qualify for assistance, you must give a week notice to the club and be a club member for at least 1 month.

ARTICLE 5: “K.I.’S member of the month/ Image of the month

Club Management will vote “K.I.’s member of the month.” Inputs are due by the last Friday of each month.
Club management will vote on “K.I.’s Image of the week.” Inputs are due by Thursday of each week.
Recognition will be given on the club website “K.I. member of the month/ K.I’s Image of the week.

ARTICLE 7: CHAPTERS

An official member of Kustom Image C.T.M must start all chapters. Any member interest in starting a chapter must petition it, giving reasons why he or she should be able to start one. Once approved by the club Owner, & President, without any objections, he or she may be granted to start a chapter, with them being manager/team leader and main point contact of that chapter

All Kustom Image C.T.M. chapters are bound by the same By-Laws and must stay active. Exception to the rule: Chapter managers can make modifications to the By-laws for his or her chapter, and to make it official, he or she must report the modification(s) to the club president immediately.
